The Youth Ministry at the Woodlawn Church of Christ strives to prepare young men and women to be shining lights in the community now and as they transition into adulthood.
Our classes are full of scripture. Scripture teaches us that we are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). In order to do this, we need to learn how to serve God and others just as Christ did. We teach that we should not only do this as a group but also as individuals.
Here are some of the activities that we are involved in as a group where we serve others, learn how to better serve others, and fellowship together and with other youth groups:
- Monthly Service Project
- Mission Trips
- Devotionals
- Challenge Youth Conference
- Shoals Area Youth Series
- Songs of Summer (UNA Student Christian Center)
- Exalt Singing
- Lads to Leaders
- Camp Wiregrass
- Fellowship Activities: Camping, Lock-ins, Ocoee Rafting, Six Flags, etc.
